Los rectores de la Institución Universitaria Digital de Antioquia, Jasson Alberto de la Rosa Isaza; del Politécnico Colombiano Jame Isaza Cadavid, Jairo Alexander Osorio Saraz y del Tecnológico de Antioquia, Leonardo García Botero, firmaron la Alianza por la Paz “La verdad nos une”, una iniciativa interinstitucional que permite un diálogo abierto en temas de paz, verdad y reparación.
La suscripción del convenio se llevó a cabo este 13 de octubre en la IUDigital, con la presencia de directivas académicas y administrativas, docentes, estudiantes e investigadores que lideran el proyecto “La Verdad nos une”, en cada uno de estos centros de estudios superiores.
El objetivo de la alianza es integrar esfuerzos con el fin de generar espacios de discusión pública sobre los temas de paz, reconciliación y convivencia y aportar elementos de reflexión para la construcción de un currículo conjunto para la paz. Entre dichas acciones figuran: conversatorios, creación de semilleros de investigación, cátedras abiertas, producción de contenido multimedia y convocatorias de proyectos de investigación.
Sobre la alianza, Jasson Alberto de la Rosa Isaza, declaró: “es un poderoso punto de partida, la manifestación pública que hacemos de unir voluntades, la cual se concretará en la elaboración de una hoja de ruta y unas acciones estratégicas que desarrollaremos en estos nuevos tiempos que nos convocan a soñar juntos, a recorrer unidos estos caminos antes llenos de sangre y muerte y, hoy, sembrados de esperanzas y semillas de reconciliación. Esta alianza interuniversitaria se propone porque creemos que la paz, da vida al territorio, creemos que la educación nos da raíces para estar haciendo presencia en las regiones y alas para impulsar comunidades libres y personas mirando al infinito”.
Por su parte, Jairo Alexander Osorio, recalcó: “nos encontramos tres instituciones de educación superior del departamento, con una población de más de 30 mil estudiantes en conjunto. Llevarles un mensaje claro a esa comunidad de jóvenes es algo muy importante para el crecimiento de nuestras regiones y de la sociedad. Las tres instituciones tenemos que aportarle a la paz, a eso nos comprometemos y es nuestra voluntad en adelante. Nosotros desde la academia venimos construyendo sociedad y lo seguiremos haciendo. El objetivo que nos hemos trazado va de la mano del Plan de Desarrollo Departamental Unidos, de la Agenda 2040, de los planes de desarrollo de las tres instituciones y del Plan de Desarrollo que se está construyendo a nivel nacional”.
Por último, el rector del Tecnológico de Antioquia, Leonardo García Botero, expuso: “el diálogo, hace parte de la construcción de paz, y lo que hemos hecho las tres instituciones es sentarnos a dialogar, a construir una pedagogía de la paz, en compañía de nuestros académicos, estudiantes y egresados. Nuestra propuesta es diseñar e implementar las estrategias alrededor de la misión que tenemos como instituciones universitarias para realizar la pedagogía del informe de la JEP y el legado de la Comisión de la Verdad con los diversos actores de nuestra sociedad”.
Desde el Tecnológico de Antioquia, por intermedio del Grupo de Investigación Observatorio Público, se ha generado una estrategia con las demás instituciones, que se denomina “Hablemos de la verdad”. Esta es la ruta, el camino que se está recorriendo: poner en el escenario el tema de las violencias, el del conflicto para trabajarlo a través de los espacios de formación superior.
"We are Building a Pedagogy of Peace"
The presidents of the Digital University Institution of Antioquia, Jasson Alberto de la Rosa Isaza; of the Politécnico Colombiano Jaime Isaza Cadavid, Jairo Alexander Osorio Saraz and the Tecnológico de Antioquia, Leonardo García Botero, signed the Alliance for Peace "The Truth Unites Us," an inter-institutional initiative that allows an open dialogue on issues of peace, truth and reparation.
The signing of the agreement took place this past October 13 at the IUDigital, with the presence of academic and administrative directives, teachers, students and researchers who lead the project "The Truth Unites Us," in each of these centers of higher studies.
The objective of the alliance is to integrate efforts to generate spaces for public discussion on the issues of peace, reconciliation and coexistence and provide elements of reflection for the construction of a joint curriculum for peace. These actions include: talks, creation of research seedbeds, open chairs, production of multimedia content and calls for research projects.
On the alliance, Jasson Alberto de la Rosa Isaza, declared: "it is a powerful starting point, the public manifestation that we are uniting wills, which will materialize in the elaboration of a road map and strategic actions that we will develop in these new times that summon us to dream together, to travel together these paths previously full of blood and death and, today, sown with hope and seeds of reconciliation. This inter-university alliance is proposed because we believe that peace gives life to the territory, we believe that education gives us roots to be present in the regions and wings to promote free communities and people looking to infinity."
For his part, Jairo Alexander Osorio, stressed that: "We find three institutions of higher education in the department, with a population of more than 30 thousand students together. Bringing a clear message to this community of young people is very important for the growth of our regions and society. The three institutions have to contribute to peace, to that we are committed, and it is our will from now on. We from the academy have been building society and we will continue to do so. The objective we have set goes hand in hand with the United Departmental Development Plan, the 2040 Agenda, the development plans of the three institutions and the Development Plan that is being built at the national level."
Finally, the president of Tecnológico de Antioquia, Leonardo García Botero, said: “Dialogue is part of the construction of peace, and what the three institutions have done is to sit down to dialogue, to build a pedagogy of peace, joined by our teachers, students and graduates. Our proposal is to design and implement strategies around the mission we have as university institutions to carry out the pedagogy of the JEP report and the legacy of the Truth Commission with the various actors of our society.”
From Tecnológico de Antioquia, through the Public Observatory Research Group, a strategy has been generated with the other institutions, which is called "Let's talk about the truth." This is the route, the path that is being travelled: to put on stage the issue of violence, that of conflict to work through the spaces of higher education.
