El líder indígena Abadio Green Stócel también conocido como Manipiniktikinya, que es su nombre nativo del pueblo Kuna Tule, estuvo acompañando a estudiantes de la Facultad de Educación del curso de Diseño Universal de Aprendizaje (DUA), con el propósito de establecer diálogos interculturales en la configuración de saberes educativos que reconocen la diversidad y su valor.
El encuentro se realizó en el aula 104 del bloque 12 del campus universitario del Tecnológico de Antioquia a las 8:00 de la mañana, los participantes se ubicaron en mesa redonda y en el centro del aula ubicaron las frutas que el docente había solicitado llevar como tarea, formando un espiral frutal, símbolo muy importante para la pedagogía de la madre tierra que se encuentra presente en varios momentos de la vida, que entre otras cosas representa el eterno retorno y que brindó una dinámica de acercamiento al otro en el aula a través del compartir un alimento natural.
Coodinador del Programa de Educación Indígena en la Universidad de Antioquia, Abadio, quien además es uno de los 30 personajes más influentes del país, comprende la articulación existente entre la educación y la política en el objetivo común para la defensa de la Madre Naturaleza y desde la Licenciatura en Pedagogía de la Madre Tierra como un proceso para formar-nos maestros y maestras, líderes de los pueblos y a la vez, líderes, maestros y maestras con pedagogía y corazón bueno.
“Se tiene como centro la madre naturaleza como gran pedagoga, para comprender que somos parte de esta creación, que somos una piedra más en la tierra, como lo son los planetas, las estrellas, los animales, los árboles, los ríos, el aire, la lluvia, porque es madre de todo lo soñado y todo lo creado” afirma el profesor Abadio.
Este caminar por la palabra, el pensamiento y las acciones, en clave intercultural, son los insumos para la construcción de propuestas pedagógicas para la formación de un sujeto político con espiritualidad ancestral y la racionalidad lógica de la cosmogonía del Estado mercado. En las palabras del mamo Ika Lwntana de la Sierra Nevada: “los problemas del mundo actual son causados por la carencia de espiritualidad”.
“La iniciativa que se da en el marco de la celebración del Día Internacional de la Lengua Materna y día Nacional de las lenguas Nativas, reconoce en los saberes ancestrales el carácter universal de la educación mediante la metodología de diálogo de saberes y la producción social de conocimientos con una mirada crítica sobre las prácticas aprendidas” expresa el profesor de DUA Santiago Arango Hernández.
La Institución Universitaria Tecnológico de Antioquia celebra este acontecimiento y reconoce en cada uno de sus participantes el espíritu de liderazgo e identidad institucional desde el “Ser, Hacer y Transcender”.
Mother Earth Pedagogy at TdeA
The indigenous leader Abadio Green Stócel also known as Manipiniktikinya -his native name in the Kuna Tule people- was accompanying students of the School of Education of the Universal Design of Learning (DUA) course, with the purpose of establishing intercultural dialogues in the configuration of educational knowledge that recognizes diversity and its value.
The meeting was held in room 104 of building 12 of Tecnológico de Antioquia university campus at 8:00 in the morning, the participants were located in a round table and in the center of the classroom. They placed fruits that the teacher had requested to take as a task, forming a fruity spiral, a very important symbol for the pedagogy of mother earth that is present at various moments of life, that among other things represents the eternal return and that provided a dynamic of approach to the other in the classroom through the sharing of a natural food.
Coordinator of the Indigenous Education Program at the University of Antioquia, Abadio, who is also one of the 30 most influential characters in the country, understands the articulation between education and politics in the common objective for the defense of Mother Nature and from the Degree in Pedagogy of Mother Earth as a process to train teachers, leaders of the peoples and at the same time, leaders, teachers with pedagogy and good heart.
"Mother Nature is centered as a great pedagogue, to understand that we are part of this creation, that we are one more stone on earth, as are the planets, the stars, the animals, the trees, the rivers, the air, the rain, because it is the mother of everything dreamed of and everything created," says Professor Abadio.
This walk through the word, thought and actions, in an intercultural key, are the inputs for the construction of pedagogical proposals for the formation of a political subject with ancestral spirituality and the logical rationality of the cosmogony of the market State. In the words of Mamo Ika Lwntana of the Sierra Nevada: "the problems of today's world are caused by a lack of spirituality."
"The initiative that takes place within the framework of the celebration of the International Day of the Mother Language and National Day of the Native Languages, recognizes in the ancestral knowledge the universal character of education through the methodology of dialogue of knowledge and the social production of knowledge with a critical look at the practices learned" says the professor of DUA Santiago Arango Hernández.
The University Institution Tecnológico de Antioquia celebrates this event and recognizes in each of its participants the spirit of leadership and institutional identity from the "Being, Doing and Transcending".
