Entre los múltiples temas de interés para el Tecnológico de Antioquia I.U durante el año 2023, el cuidado y protección del medioambiente consignó uno de los ejes más importantes sobre el cual invertir un capital social y humano que respondiera a las necesidades actuales del cambio verde requerido por el Departamento.

Tal interés devino en la firma del contrato interadministrativo N° 4600015194 entre el Departamento de Antioquia – secretaría de Ambiente y Sostenibilidad, y el TdeA, con objeto de «desarrollar acciones de acompañamiento, gestión, apoyo, fortalecimiento, vigilancia y control para los programas y proyectos de la Secretaría de Ambiente y Sostenibilidad consagrados en el plan de desarrollo “Unidos por la vida 2020 – 2023”».

Inició en febrero del presente año, con fecha de terminación para el 31 de diciembre, y tuvo la participación de doce profesionales, entre ingenieros, administradores y abogados dispuestos para la ejecución de sus cinco alcances:

Cofinanciación de predios: como resultado destacable de esta labor se encuentra la consulta que el equipo de trabajo gestionó alrededor de aquellos predios con solicitudes mineras, para verificar si los titulares de dichas solicitudes contaban con licencias para trabajar sobre los predios sin repercusiones naturales.

Antioquia reverdece: este plan, que buscaba la siembra de 40.000.000 millones de árboles, recibió el apoyo para llegar al mes de noviembre con 38.762.547 árboles sembrados; siendo los municipios de Zaragoza y Chigorodó donde más siembras se efectuaron. Destaca también la labor de aliados como EPM, Corantioquia y Cornare.

Sistematización: la organización de los procesos de gestión y archivo fue uno de los temas de más relevancia durante el contrato. Para ello, se ponderó la transitividad de archivos de Excel a aplicativos para la automatización de los procesos.

POMCAS: el cuidado del agua tuvo cumplimiento gracias al acompañamiento, seguimiento y gestión de los procesos asociados a 21 POMCAS (Planes de Ordenación y Manejo de Cuencas Hidrográficas) del Departamento.

Gestión de proyectos: la creación del banco de predios fue un triunfo particular para el equipo de trabajo: «Antes, el proceso de prefactibilidad para la compra de un solo predio podía demorarse hasta dos años. Ahora se cuenta con un banco que permite optimizar la estandarización de la información y el estudio de títulos, para así conocer la situación real de los terrenos», afirmó Laura Vahos, ingeniera forestal y coordinadora del equipo.

El TdeA también aportó en las visitas a los predios en compañía de técnicos y los secretarios de los municipios; así como en los procesos de sembratones y protección de los recursos hídricos de nuestro departamento, perpetuando así su huella dentro del panorama regional como institución llena de experiencia y recursos humanos, al servicio de las entidades que buscan un impacto verde en Antioquia.

Protecting Antioquia's properties is a priority for the TdeA 

Tecnológico de Antioquia I.U. focused on a variety of subjects in 2023, but environmental protection was one of the most crucial areas to invest social and human capital in order to meet the Department's current demands for green transformation. 

 Due to this interest, the Department of Antioquia - Secretariat of Environment and Sustainability and TdeA signed Inter-Administrative Contract No. 4600015194 with the aim of "developing actions of accompaniment, management, support, strengthening, monitoring and control for the programs and projects of the Secretariat of Environment and Sustainability enshrined in the development plan "United for Life 2020 - 2023." 

It began in February of this year, with a completion date of December 31, and had the participation of twelve professionals, including engineers, administrators and lawyers, ready to execute its five scopes: 

Property co-financing: One significant outcome of this effort was the consultation the work team conducted surrounding properties that had mining applications to confirm that the holders of those applications had the necessary permissions to operate on the properties without causing natural repercussions. 

Antioquia greens up: This initiative, which aimed to plant 40,000,000 million trees, was supported and by November, 38,762,547 trees had been planted, with the municipalities of Zaragoza and Chigorodó having planted the most. The efforts of allies such as EPM, Corantioquia and Cornare also stands out. 

Systematization: One of the most crucial concerns throughout the contract was how to organize the administration and archiving operations. With this in mind, we looked at switching from Excel files to apps for process automation. 

POMCAS (for its acronym in Spanish): water conservation was achieved thanks to the monitoring, follow-up and management of the processes associated with 21 POMCAS (Watershed Management and Development Plans) in the Department. 

Project management: The establishment of the land bank was a significant achievement for the team: "Previously, the prefeasibility procedure may need up to two years for the acquisition of a single piece of land. We now have a bank that allows us to optimize the standardization of information and the study of titles, in order to know the real situation of the land." Stated Laura Vahos, the team's coordinator and forestry engineer. 

TdeA also participated in the tours of the properties with technicians and municipal secretaries as well as in the processes of planting and safeguarding our department's water resources, in order to maintain its position as an institution with a wealth of knowledge and human resources at the disposal of organizations looking to have a positive environmental impact in Antioquia.
