Las historias de las personas emprendedoras son muy parecidas: cualquier día se deciden a madurar una idea, son perseverantes y luego de varios intentos y desaciertos, logran salir adelante; la única diferencia es la clase de mercado en el que se desenvuelven y los desafíos que enfrentan en el camino.
Una de esas historias es la de Alba Orfidia Zapata Ramírez, un nombre que comienza a figurar si le agregamos el de su empresa: FUARSIS S.A. y el sitio donde opera, San Pedro de los Milagros. Con estos referentes el asunto cambia, pues pese a que la entidad es relativamente nueva, tiene ya algo de experiencia y reconocimiento en el mercado.
Para llevar a cabo con éxito un proyecto es necesario contar con tres elementos: una idea, un emprendedor o emprendedora y una meta. La idea, de montar una empresa como FUARSIS (Fumigación, Archivo y Sistemas) surgió por la carencia de prestadores de servicios en este campo; la emprendedora, es Alba, una egresada del programa de Tecnología en Gestión Comercial del Tecnológico de Antioquia y la meta: consolidarse en Antioquia, extenderse a otros departamentos y, por qué no, a países fuera de Colombia.
En concreto, FUARSIS S.A., es una empresa inspirada en la vocación de servicio, dedicada a la organización de archivos en cualquier clase de entidad, desde tablas de retención, hasta archivos acumulados y manejo de software; mensajería especialmente en los municipios del Norte de Antioquia, y especialista en el manejo y control de plagas, ya sea en el hogar, comercio, industria alimenticia, fábricas, empresas, hoteles, restaurantes, clínicas, hospitales, instituciones educativas y entidades bancarias, entre otras.
“El servicio de archivo hoy en el mundo digital, nos ha posicionado como una empresa líder en Soluciones de Gestión Documental, la única en la región que nos pone al día con la normatividad vigente exigida por el ministerio del ramo para soportar la carga informativa. Mediante soluciones amigables, inteligentes y a la medida, resolvemos los problemas en el manejo y administración de la información”, destaca Alba, una de esas mujeres trabajadoras, que viene aportando su granito de arena para construir un mejor país.
Hablar de emprendedoras es sinónimo de trabajo duro, disciplina y constancia. Todo ello se conjuga en esta profesional nacida en San Pedro de los Milagros en 1967; viuda, madre de dos hijos, uno de ellos fallecido; y egresada del TdeA en el 2013, estudios que complementó con una técnica en Secretariado Sistematizado y como profesional en Ciencias de la Información, documentación, archivo y bibliotecología en la Universidad del Quindío.
Desde cuando creó la empresa en el 2014, ha tenido que realizar ingentes esfuerzos para sacarla adelante, empezando por los requisitos exigidos y la papelería para presentarla ante la Cámara de Comercio y la DIAN, para lo cual tuvo que requerir los servicios de un contador. Le falta hacerse fuerte en la parte comercial, que se conozca más la empresa, que es la mayor dificultad que enfrenta. “Por ser tan nueva he tenido pocos trabajos y contratos con las distintas entidades, pues las organizaciones buscan empresas con mucha experiencia y por tal razón, quiero proyectarla. Después de mi carrera como tecnóloga en Gestión Comercial, tuve muchas pausas, aunque pude realizar este emprendimiento. Ahora, siento vacíos y quiero retomar el tema para mejorar la empresa, avanzar y poder contratar más personal, algo que es complicado por temas como la contratación y la salud, y todo lo que ello implica legalmente”, sostiene.
Por ahora, viene dando a conocer el portafolio de servicios, pasándolo por la web, utilizando el voz a voz, hablando con familiares y amigos, manejando el Internet y actualizándose en materia tecnológica. “Una empresa es difícil proyectarla, pero poco a poco, uno va a avanzando y siente que los esfuerzos, los sacrificios que se hicieron con el estudio y lo económico, merecen la pena y, en un futuro, tienen que su recompensa”. Y no está equivocaba: algunas personas crean un emprendimiento exitoso a partir de una pasión o una dificultad, montan imperios desde la nada y consiguen apuntalar un negocio en el ámbito local hasta convertirlo en el líder de su sector no solo en su propio país, sino en el mundo.

Alba Zapata: a TdeA graduate with passion and vocation for service
The stories of entrepreneurs are very similar: any day they decide to mature an idea, they are persevering and after several attempts and mistakes, they manage to get ahead; the only difference is the kind of market in which they operate and the challenges they face along the way.
One of those stories is that of Alba Orfidia Zapata Ramírez, a name that begins to appear if we add that of her company: FUARSIS S.A. and the place where she operates, San Pedro de los Milagros. With these references the matter changes, because although the entity is relatively new, it already has some experience and recognition in the market.
To successfully carry out a project it is necessary to have three elements: an idea, an entrepreneur and a goal. The idea of setting up a company like FUARSIS (Fumigation, Archive and Systems) arose from the lack of service providers in this field; the entrepreneur is Alba, a graduate of the Technology in Commercial Management program of the Tecnológico de Antioquia and the goal: to consolidate in Antioquia, to extend to other departments and, why not, to countries outside Colombia.
Specifically, FUARSIS S.A., is a company inspired by the vocation of service, dedicated to the organization of files in any kind of entity, from retention tables, to accumulated files and software management; courier especially in the municipalities of the North of Antioquia, and specialist in the management and control of pests, whether at home, commerce, food industry, factories, companies, hotels, restaurants, clinics, hospitals, educational institutions and banking entities, among others.
“The archiving service today in the digital world, has positioned us as a leading company in Document Management Solutions, the only one in the region that brings us up to date with the current regulations required by the ministry of the branch to support the information load. Through friendly, intelligent and tailor-made solutions, we solve the problems in the management and administration of information”, says Alba, one of those working women, who has been contributing her grain of sand to build a better country.
Talking about entrepreneurs is synonymous with hard work, discipline and perseverance. All this is combined in this professional born in San Pedro de los Milagros in 1967; widow, mother of two children, one of them deceased; and graduated from the TdeA in 2013, studies that she complemented with a technique in Systematized Secretariat and as a professional in Information Sciences, documentation, archive and librarianship at the University of Quindío.
Since she created the company in 2014, he has had to make enormous efforts to move it forward, starting with the requirements and the stationery to present it to the Chamber of Commerce and the DIAN, for which he had to require the services of an accountant. It needs to become strong in the commercial part, that the company is known more, which is the biggest difficulty it faces. “Because I am still new, I have had few jobs and contracts with the different entities, because organizations are looking for companies with a lot of experience and for that reason, I want to project it. After my career as a technologist in Commercial Management, I had many breaks, although I was able to do this venture. Now, I feel empty and I want to return to the issue to improve the company, move forward and be able to hire more staff, something that is complicated by issues such as hiring and health, and all that this implies legally,” she said.
For now, she has been publicizing the portfolio of services, passing it through the web, using voice to voice, talking to family and friends, managing the Internet and updating in technological matters. “A company is difficult to project, but little by little, one is going to move forward and feels that the efforts, the sacrifices that were made with the study and the economic, are worth it and, in the future, they have to be rewarded.” And he is not wrong: some people create a successful venture from a passion or a difficulty, set up empires from nothing and manage to prop up a business at the local level until it becomes the leader of their sector not only in their own country, but in the world.
