Con lágrimas de emoción, ese fue el mejor modo de expresar su orgullo. “Yo estoy feliz, no me cambio por nadie. Es que ella hizo un gran esfuerzo para poder entrar a estudiar. Nosotros le ayudamos con lo que más pudimos. Siempre fue juiciosa con el estudio y nunca perdió ni un año”, dijo Nohemí Álvarez, quien más que abuela fue una madre para Katherine Cano.

Ella es una nueva egresada de la Licenciatura en Educación Infantil; el 29 de mayo, recibió su título en nuestro campus de Robledo. “Ha sido un camino largo, pero muy lindo. Trabajar con niños es maravilloso. Hace siete años alfabeticé con ellos y desde ahí llegó ese amor por enseñar”, expresó emocionada la ahora profesional TdeA.

En el acto de grados, 132 estudiantes de las cuatro facultades cumplieron el sueño que los trajo a nuestras aulas. En tres ceremonias realizadas en el Auditorio Gilberto Echeverri Mejía recibieron sus diplomas.

María Isabel Sepúlveda también hizo parte de este grupo. “Siento mucha emoción, desde muy chiquita siempre sentí mucha afinidad por esta profesión. Estoy muy nerviosa y contenta”, manifestó antes de recibir su título en Psicología. Resaltó también el apoyo que la institución universitaria ofrece a sus estudiantes para el cumplimiento de sus metas.

Visiblemente emocionado estaba Nicolás Ramírez, quien se graduó como psicólogo: “Es un orgullo poder estar aquí en este momento. Ha significado muchas cosas, demasiado esfuerzo, mucho tiempo, muchos amigos, muchas cosas que he tenido que dejar atrás, y otras cosas a las que me he aproximado”.

Alexandra Cardona, su madre, mencionó que este es uno de los momentos en que se resumen las acciones en educación y valores familiares. “Un orgullo muy grande, es un logro familiar. Muchas cosas pasan en tanto tiempo, en cinco años, mucho esfuerzo, también dedicación de parte de él”, puntualizó.

“No olviden que el conocimiento que han adquirido es un poder que deben usar con responsabilidad, con ética y con el compromiso de contribuir al bienestar de la sociedad. Inspiren a otros con su trabajo. Construyan caminos para quienes vienen detrás”, es parte del mensaje del equipo directivo del TdeA.

Del mismo modo, se pasó el resaltador por la responsabilidad social que adquirieron: “El éxito de cada uno de ustedes es el éxito de una sociedad entera. Cada logro individual contribuye al bienestar de muchos, y su camino profesional será una oportunidad constante para devolverle algo al mundo. Sigan creciendo, teniendo siempre presente lo que se les enseñó en estas aulas”.

En el evento se destacó a la familia y amigos que creyeron y apoyaron estos sueños ahora cumplidos; en el camino que inician con valentía, mirando en cada miedo la oportunidad para crecer, en la necesidad de seguir aprendiendo; se les agradeció por elegir al TdeA como su casa, que seguirá de puertas abiertas para ellos.

Desde la formación integral, el TdeA aporta al desarrollo social, educativo, económico y cultural del país y construye escenarios de paz, diversidad e inclusión desde el proyecto colectivo de “Ser, Hacer, Trascender”. Esta cohorte es una muestra de ello.

Our Alma Mater, Happy for the New TdeA Graduates 

With tears of emotion, that was the best way to express his pride. "I am happy, I wouldn't change for anyone." It's just that she made a great effort to be able to get into school. We helped her with everything we could. She was always diligent with her studies and never lost a year," said Nohemí Álvarez, who was more of a mother than a grandmother to Katherine Cano. 

She is a recent graduate of the Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education; on May 29, she received her diploma at our Robledo campus. "It has been a long but very beautiful journey." Working with children is wonderful. Seven years ago, I taught them the alphabet, and that's when my love for teaching began," expressed the now professional TdeA with emotion. 

At the graduation ceremony, 132 students from the four faculties fulfilled the dream that brought them to our classrooms. In three ceremonies held at the Gilberto Echeverri Mejía Auditorium, they received their diplomas. 

María Isabel Sepúlveda was also part of this group. "I feel a lot of emotion, since I was very little I always felt a strong affinity for this profession." "I am very nervous and happy," she stated before receiving her degree in Psychology. She also highlighted the support that the university institution offers its students to achieve their goals. 

Visibly emotional was Nicolás Ramírez, who graduated as a psychologist: "It is a pride to be here at this moment." It has meant many things, too much effort, a lot of time, many friends, many things I have had to leave behind, and other things I have approached. 

Alexandra Cardona, her mother, mentioned that this is one of those moments when actions in education and family values are summarized. "A great pride, it is a family achievement." A lot can happen in that time, in five years, a lot of effort, also dedication on his part," he pointed out. 

"Do not forget that the knowledge you have acquired is a power that you must use responsibly, ethically, and with the commitment to contribute to the well-being of society." Inspire others with your work. "Build paths for those who come after you," is part of the message from the TdeA management team. 

Similarly, the highlighter was passed over the social responsibility they undertook: "The success of each one of you is the success of an entire society." Each individual achievement contributes to the well-being of many, and your professional path will be a constant opportunity to give something back to the world. Keep growing, always keeping in mind what was taught to you in these classrooms. 

At the event, the family and friends who believed in and supported these now-fulfilled dreams were highlighted; on the path they bravely begin, seeing in each fear the opportunity to grow, in the need to keep learning; they were thanked for choosing TdeA as their home, which will remain open to them. 

From comprehensive education, TdeA contributes to the social, educational, economic, and cultural development of the country and builds scenarios of peace, diversity, and inclusion thru the collective project of "Being, Doing, Transcending." This cohort is a testament to that.
