Como un importante logro que impacta, de manera positiva, en la ampliación de la oferta académica, la calidad educativa y la generación de nuevos conocimientos, calificó el rector de la Institución Universitaria Colegio Mayor del Cauca Héctor Sánchez Collazos, el convenio marco de cooperación interinstitucional suscrito con el Tecnológico de Antioquia, en cabeza de su rector Lorenzo Portocarrero Sierra.
Para Sánchez Collazos, el acuerdo significa: “Poder afianzar con toda la confianza el desarrollo de la educación superior en los niveles postgraduales. Garantizar que el Tecnológico de Antioquia, que cuenta con acreditación institucional de Alta Calidad, nos permite abrir las puertas que hoy no tenemos en la región, orientando una maestría en el área de las ingenierías, pero también llevar el TdeA al Cauca. Eso es fundamental como instituciones de educación superior que somos, hermanas, y en esas alianzas que tenemos podernos fortalecer mutuamente, en pro de una buena oferta académica para la región”.
Por su parte, el Rector del TdeA, Portocarrero Sierra, destacó esta alianza para fortalecer los procesos académicos de movilidad de docentes y estudiantes, extender los programas y los procesos de investigación, de acuerdo con las fortalezas de ambas instituciones universitarias.

TdeA and COLMAYOR del Cauca Strengthen Academic Links
The framework agreement of inter-institutional cooperation subscribed with the Tecnológico de Antioquia has been qualified as an important achievement that impacts, in a positive way, the expansion of the academic offer, the educational quality and the generation of new knowledge, expressed the president of the Higher Education Institution of the Cauca, Héctor Sánchez Collazos and TdeA President Lorenzo Portocarrero Sierra.
For Sánchez Collazos, the agreement means: "To be able to secure with all confidence the development of higher education at postgraduate levels. Guarantee that the Tecnológico de Antioquia, which has high quality institutional accreditation, allows us to open the doors that we do not have in the region today, creating a master's degree in the area of engineering, but also bringing the TdeA to the Cauca region. That is fundamental as institutions of higher education that we are, twin universities, and as a result of the alliances we have, we can strengthen each other, in favor of a good academic offer for the region."
For his part, Portocarrero Sierra, the President of TdeA, highlighted the alliance, one that will serve to strengthen the academic processes of mobility of teachers and students, extend the programs and research processes, in accordance with the strengths of both university institutions.
