Gobernador, alcalde y rector anunciaron financiación inicial por 13 mil millones
Con la presencia del gobernador de Antioquia, Luis Pérez Gutiérrez; el alcalde y el presidente del Concejo de Itagüí, León Mario Bedoya y Romy Alexánder Cháves Marín; y el rector del Tecnológico de Antioquia, Lorenzo Portocarrero Sierra, se oficializó, este 12 de junio la construcción de una nueva sede del TdeA en el municipio de Itagüí.
Se trata del Campus Universitario TdeA Aburrá Sur, un proyecto avaluado en $31.373.570.000, que se hará en tres fases, en un lote de 13.876.18 metros cuadrados, valorado en $7.679.578.929 cedido a la Institución Universitaria por el Municipio de Itagüí mediante Acuerdo del Concejo Municipal. La primera fase tiene un costo de 13 mil millones de pesos, diez mil de ellos aportados por la Administración Departamental provenientes de las regalías para la educación superior, dos mil por el Tecnológico de Antioquia y mil más por el municipio de Itagüí.

Governor, mayor and TdeA’s president announced initial funding for COP13,000 million
This past June 12th was formalized the construction of a new headquarters of the TdeA in the municipality of Itagüí. The event was spearheaded by governor of Antioquia, Luis Pérez Gutiérrez; the Itagüí mayor, León Mario Bedoya, the president of the City Council of Itagüí, Romy Alexánder Cháves Marín and by the president of the Tecnológico de Antioquia, Lorenzo Portocarrero Sierra.
This will be the TdeA Aburrá Sur University Campus, a project with a total investment of COP$31,373,570,000 in a 13,876.18 square meters lot, valued at COP$7,679,578,929, which will be delivered in three phases. The University Institution received the land ceded by the Municipality of Itagüí by legal Agreement of the city council. The first phase will demand COP13,000 million, ten thousand of them contributed by the Departmental Administration from royalties for higher education, two thousand by the Tecnológico de Antioquia and a thousand more by the municipality of Itagüí.
