La subsecretaria de Medio Ambiente Verónica Cotes Londoño, manifestó el interés de conectar a los estudiantes con la Entidad y el Municipio de Medellín, así como recuperar la relación Estado-Academia.
Verónica Cotes Londoño, subsecretaria de Medio Ambiente de Medellín visitó al Tecnológico de Antioquia, con el fin de estrechar lazos con la Institución Universitaria en materia ambiental. A la reunión, asistieron Fabio Alberto Vargas Agudelo, director de Investigación; Jorge Montoya Restrepo, director del Grupo Integra; Andrés Felipe Montoya Rendón, coordinador del semillero de Investigación Gerso, y Darío Enrique Soto Durán, decano de la Facultad de Ingeniería.
En diálogo con los asistentes a este encuentro la funcionaria, manifestó: “Queremos que los estudiantes de las distintas facultades o áreas afines al medio ambiente conozcan la gestión que hace la Secretaría y el municipio de Medellín en relación al medio ambiente y recuperar igualmente esa relación que tenemos entre el Estado y la academia”.

The Undersecretary of Environment, Verónica Cotes Londoño, expressed her interest of connecting students with the entity and the municipality of Medellín, as well as recovering the state-academia relationship.
Verónica Cotes Londoño, Undersecretary of the environment of Medellín visited the Tecnológico de Antioquia, in order to strengthen ties with the university institution on Environmental Matters. The meeting was attended by Fabio Alberto Vargas Agudelo, director of research; Jorge Montoya Restrepo, director of Integra Group; Andrés Felipe Montoya Rendon, coordinator of the research lab Gerso, and Darío Enrique Soto Durán, dean of the School of Engineering.
In a dialogue with those attending this meeting, she expressed that: "We want students from different schools or areas related to the environment to know the management of the Secretariat and the Municipality of Medellín in those topic related to the environment and to recover that relationship that we have had between the state and the academy.”
